RESIDENTS at Jubilee Court in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, are urging the authorities to trim tree branches and leaves pressing against a cable connecting street lights.
The situation has made residents uneasy and fearful of their safety.
“The trees are at the back of Jubilee Court near a squatter area.
“We urge the authorities to replace the rusty telephone line poles and trim the branches so that residents can have peace of mind.”
A spokesman for Kuala Lumpur City Hall said it would dispatch a team to investigate the situation.
“For further complaints, the public can contact our hotline at 1800-88-3255 or email us at callcentre@ dbkl.gov.my.”
