THE biennial Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) is back this year from May 18 to 20 at the Malaysia International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
One of the various communications channels for the commercial vehicle industry provided by Asian Trucker Media, the exhibition serves to showcase the latest commercial vehicles to the Malaysian and Southeast Asian markets with “Connected Mobility” as this year’s theme.
Big Data is increasingly becoming a key instrument in managing businesses, whether it’s industrial or providing services to commuters and travellers. It is essential to mobility and connectivity, which are two important areas in the commercial vehicle field; benefiting fleet operators and commuters according to organiser Asian Trucker Media.
Since its debut in 2013, it has attracted strong participation from local and international exhibitors, showcasing leading products and services as well as latest innovations in the commercial vehicles industry. Occupying 8000sqm of space, this year’s MCVE sees renewed participation by past exhibitors and new.
MCVE 2017’s organisers anticipate over 7,000 visitors this year, with fully sold exhibition space.
There will also be booths from international exhibitors, a highway rest stop-themed discussion area, complete with food trucks and a chance to take part in the Scania Driver Competition MCVE Edition; which allows anyone with a standard car driver’s license to experience the challenging environment that truck and bus drivers face every day.
The event also marks the seventh annual Asian Trucker networking night and a luncheon for the members of the Asian Trucker Drivers Club which will be held on the May 20.
