KUALA LUMPUR: Fans of popular South Korean girl group MAMAMOO can rejoice as the quartet is set to return soon.
According to a news report on Soompi, the K-pop outfit was currently busy preparing for a brand new album.
It added that the four members, Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa, were actively engaged in comeback preparations, having shared their personal ideas on potential concepts, title tracks and music video themes, as well as outfits.
A source from the group’s agency had confirmed the good news, saying that: “MAMAMOO is currently preparing for a March comeback.”
It goes without doubt that many K-Pop fans will be excited to see what the girl group will be presenting next for its new release.
Formed by the Rainbow Bridge World music label, MAMAMOO made its debut in 2014 to much critical acclaim.
The group has released five EPs and a hit studio album, titled Melting, which came out in 2016. Showcasing tracks that straddle on retro, jazz and R&B genres, the girls are known for their strong vocal performances, witty lyrics and on stage charisma.
The talented and beautiful 20-somethings have certainly made a musical impact with winning numbers, from the group’s debut track, Mr. Ambiguous, to Um Oh Ah Yeh, You’re The Best, Décalcomanie, Yes I Am and Paint Me.
