KUALA LUMPUR: Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak today lashed out at the opposition pact for "relaunching" its campaign against Prime Minister's wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.
Salleh said the opposition seemed to be recycling old stories on Rosmah to camouflage its own weaknesses.
"After a quiet of about four years, the opposition has relaunched its anti-Rosmah campaign and is circulating fabricated stories without support of any evidence and alleging all sorts of things about Rosmah.
"In fact, many of these stories have already been proven false when they first came out years ago.
"So, again, Malaysia is being feasted with an orgy of lies," he said in a blogpost today.
Salleh said the opposition was probably hoping that by bringing back old stories on Rosmah, Malaysians would focus on that matter, instead of the confusion surrounding Pakatan Harapan's prime minister-in-waiting.
"PH is at the most critical stage of its very short life and if it cannot resolve the matter, the pact is going to disintegrate just like Pakatan Rakyat did not too long ago."
