I will be 88 years old come May. Some people at this stage of life may have become downcast and no longer care to vote. Others, like me, are all too enthusiastic to cast our votes. I just can’t wait for the general election.
I am happy to say that I have voted in all the state and parliamentary elections since the early 1950s.
As a law-abiding citizen, I will do my duty according to my conscience when the election day comes.
Many of my peers will not be able to vote in the next general election for they have already “migrated upwards”.
But we are still around. So, let us vote with confidence for a better tomorrow in the 14th General Election.
